one week.
yes...one week is not a very long time. i have a huge sore throat which has left me with a super sexy (kononnya) voice. and i need to present a workshop tomorrow... :P and nights have left me with a sense of exhaustion from all that running around.
and to think i m only one week into the new year. but i m fine with things...and though sometimes i get irritated, i generally manage to get over it. i discover as i always have, i dislike wearing what is either a waiter's uniform/promoter's uniform/funeral mourner/penguin suit. it's hot, it's stuffy and it makes me look fat. besides i love my comfy duds best of all. and when i m in comfy duds, i m more fully myself.
the juniors are a nice bunch of students...but only time can tell how they weather the storms law fac and uni life will throw at them. i like the look of some of them, i think and believe they will do well. as long as they work hard... :)
what is best about the new year here is that sense that no matter what, i know i can face it in God's strength and grace. i have love. i have life. and every morning when i wake, no matter how crappy yesterday was, i say a prayer to thank Him for the new day and ask Him to bless me and guide my steps thru the day.
AMEN.
p/s as this sounds really predictable, i m not sure i ought to say this...God bless everyone, especially the juniors in law fac...may they seek and strive to do well always.
and yes...Pet loves you, all of you. :)
