the Bar and the Tarot cards

Just last night i was at Skybar with some schoolmates post birthday celebs (some of whom i hadn't seen in about 10 years or so!) when one of my schoolmates met a colleague there. this same colleague came over and chatted my friend up with ... a pack of Tarot cards.

no, seriously, he had a pack of Tarot cards in his pouch. Mr. Smooth Talker asked my friend to shuffle some cards and pick a few out, then proceeded to give some super general statements ala the Star daily horoscopes. and he slyly found out whether she was 'seeing someone' too. :P

talk about cheapo weapo pick up tricks. such a transparent maneuver. well, it's left to be seen if there's any follow up on his part. waiting to see!
