saw a bunch of kids playing football and flying kites (literally ok!), the ever present 'laksa' stall selling 'cendol pulut', 'tapai' and 'ABC' and quite unfortunately-
rubbish strewn all over from an upturned dustbin.
it's sad, and i wondered how long the rubbish had been there. it looked like it'd been there forever...ugh.
well, compared to the Polo Ground or Taman Rekreasi Sultan Abdul Aziz back in Ipoh, Padang Kota has got scraggly uneven grass, a smaller area and overall poor maintenance. the folks at home are so lucky! :D
net result of explorations: - will walk there again, since it's nicer than the miniature 'padang' with playground near my house. i got a blister though and it's wobbling away, tempting me to poke it! :P no i won't. probably invite a nasty infection. continue the walking, i m having to re-educate my body as to what it means to exercise and eat better. it's learning as much as it can! :)
no pix - i only brought my housekeys out.
laters folks!

I feel that verdant playground and field in residential area are vital for generating mental and physical health. It is an appealing scene when family, friends, couples, teenagers and children are playing games, having a stroll, ventilating their emotion and views, etc ... in the evening and Sunday morning. A strong country is contributed by numerous healthy family, and a niche playground serve as the soil for the budding of blessing family.
:D
i m with you on this!
definitely an appealing scene and i love playgrounds/fields - there's something so wholesome and healthy about them, except where they're poorly maintained :P
on another note, continue walking! need to build up strength and fitness! :D
Good to go for a walk once in a while, admiring the beauty of nature - God's creation!
