she meets many people, and some are good and kind and loving.
some are indifferent, and some take delight in almost perverted and intense cruelty.
she stops and thinks for a while.
the kind ones...they make her smile, laugh and she enjoys these beautiful memories, drawing strength from their words and affirmations and love.
the indifferent ones sometimes make her cry but of late, the wounds are dry and bleed no more, just as the wounds caused by those who are unkind.
and she thinks a bit harder.
just that little bit harder.
suddenly revelation strikes her. is all this a blessing or a curse?
with perspective and insight, she begins to see each meeting as a blessing, and her tears blessed with experience and knowledge, her smiles a gift in a world short on giving...and finally the strength and courage to live by principles, especially when she has seen firsthand the effects of living by another code, another way.
she gives thanks to God, hard though it be, and continues on her way.

Everything depends on how you look at it, doesn't it? OK, I know that sounds cliched, but there's a reason why cliches stick around long enough to become cliches.
I hope I'm one of the KIND and GOOD and LOVING people you mentioned, ehehehehe! XD
Perverted and intensely cruel. . . Perverted, maybe a bit lah, intensely cruel. . .A bit cruel when I'm sarcastic, sometimes lor, but I'm sure my good qualities overshadows all that, eh? ;)
Glad to know that you're taking the obstacles in life and the nasty ppl you meet along the way in a positive light :) Because if you don't, it's going to embitter you, and that's only going to hurt you and your loved ones.
No time for blogging for me, sigh!
the cliche comment is so way catchy. kind of like a bad cliche, but then again there never was a good cliche to begin with.
