Home to Ipoh!

i took the bus home to Ipoh just yesterday and being the usual blur person i am, i was kind of doubtful how to go to pudu fm plaza rakyat. yes, i know it's simple, but heheh, ignorance makes easy things hard.

so i asked a malay lady at the star lrt station whether i was on the right platform. she was carrying some luggage and i thought she could be going to pudu. so yes, she was and i asked her if i could follow her because i wasn't too sure how to get there. she gave me a nice and sweet smile and she allowed me to go with her. turns out she's fm pasir gudang and she says it's much easier to get to pudu fm plaza rakyat rather than walking fm pasar seni station.

item: it was raining and my faithful red umbrella had been stolen from the main library. it was broken at one point and black in patches, but still, when it's rainy, umbrellas grow legs.

we made it to pudu under the covered walkway. she shook my hand and wished me all the best as we parted ways at the ticket counter.

chalk one up for the caring malaysian! the last time i got lost and asked for directions, people thought i was soliciting for donations. :P find this a real pleasant surprise.

flowers bloom where u least expect. drains, pavements, the patch of grass outside ur house. but they do bloom ...and they look so beautiful.
