staying true - a choice of many choices

'to thine own self be true, and as night follows the day, thou can then not be false to any man'
William Shakespeare, from the play 'Julius Caesar'

staying true to one's self - a choice made, consisting of many small choices throughout life.
and every time you choose something real to yourself, something where you are true to the being within you, you affirm a part of yourself, strengthen it, give it a voice that grows louder and surer.

you begin to integrate the scattered fragments of self - all of them equally real, and you see that you are like a diamond with so many light-shone facets.

there are no set conditions for what makes a fulfilling life. each of us have different desires, dreams, inclinations, disinclinations - but what is for sure is that a fulfilling life begins with being always honest with who we are and to accept and even love the fact we are so complex.
the truth has never entrapped, it has and will always set us free.
