he saw her in shadow, saw the way the light rose and fell on her body - she smiled at him, a vixen smiling, her lips curved sensuously and her eyes shone with a million schemes yet to be perfected...many saw her in the light, but he was the first to see her in shadow and better yet, to enjoy watching her there. he was not afraid. a gemstone with so many facets and he saw so much more than the others ... his own diamond.
drawing close, he held her hand and they began to dance. the music was slow, stately, a waltz. and they glided on the dance floor together. they began to speak of so many things, she could never agree with him and yet, she could never deny the spark between them.
love. hate. love. she was not sure. and he was not sure too. for the moment, love. and in between all the other emotions and feelings humankind knows all too well.
and white was not the absence of colour but all colours melded and blended into one. so it was they shared a whiteness so dazzling it contained every shade of the rainbow, from fiery red of anger and still, a blazing passion to the cool violet of quiet days spent in contentment and peace.

But it was good.
Do write more on them. I'm curious to know how they got to this point and who they are.
