the stocktaking process...

taking stock.
reassessing. rearranging. facing up. the long walkabout.
an extreme tiredness. spirit, mind and body. but the journey is barely begun.

optimism bubbles, but today a steadiness. a steadiness that comes from a gradual stilling before a complete stop. because one can only run on empty so far. and when one knows one is almost well and truly lost.

clear a space, clear it, and feel the air on the face. feel a widening inside, where it counts. and breathe. because oxygen is life-giving, it fills the lungs and there is openness inside...
and even deeper, the truth is calling out to be faced. the truth that seems dreadful, so horrifying...and yet it calls out...until you look it square in the eye, and make peace with it, difficult though it may be.

Hah, it seems like a how-to-yada yada yada entry...perhaps, you could start writing one of those self-help books. Cheerio!
