hiatus is not officially over, i m quite busy still...and there are things i m also processing, the results of which you shall see someday in the future.

attachment began today, i have a nice place in the left hand corner of the court where i sit and watch the lawyers submit and my supervisor (a Sessions Court judge) ask them questions. didn't think i would be transferred to the sessions court though. most things i found out and discussed are sub judice and it's not appropriate to talk about them here...but still:

witness' reply to cross examination : ABSURD! NO!
ok, got your point. some parts i wanted to laugh, but i had to control myself. sungguh berdrama, but a bit slow overall. clash of wills. spotted the bailiff sleeping during the hearing. all he does is stand up and shout 'BANGUN' when the judge enters and leaves the court and he is still sleepy...hmm...

one guy asked me for a stamp for his official documents. i directed him to the high court and the commissioner of oaths opposite the road. reminds me of the time the minister Datuk Shahrizat mistook me for a lecturer in the faculty at the tea with the Governor-General of NZ in law fac when i was in second year. do i look old or what? some people say i can pass for a 19 year old...

cheerio. that's all for now. saw a lot, but nothing really surprising or shocking. i think i m getting blase a bit. people there have been very nice and kind, and i m very thankful for that. :)

malas to post at first, but couldn't find the stuff my super wanted, so i came here to write a bit of light hearted stuff ... and i m so happy the modem is ok again...! (even if it's superslow tmnet connection)...nevermind, i have something in hand, just not the exact cases or authorities, i can explain it to my super.
