the day of reckoning almost come...
shirk away no more
square the shoulders, face the storm,
and be brave, be not afraid,
it will not last forever.
the day of reckoning can no longer be put off,
the time has come.
it cannot be pushed under the carpet,
the truth demands to be told.
it cannot dissolve in a pool of what is easy,
it crushes the desires of expedience.
threats and bluster float away
harsh and unjust words,
uttered from the dark of human hearts
they now face the glaring, unforgiving light of truth...
they too face this same day of reckoning.

justice be done on this day
