Resolutions...and a whole list of things we would like to achieve in the new year...
it's funny how studying under the local uni's semester system changes your sense of time. when 1st jan rolls around, invariably we will be in the middle of the second semester, which as any law student worth his or her salt will tell you is the busiest and most stressful sem in the year. and there's a feeling of continuity in things...no break really. one is constantly moving forward.
but it is possible to feel a new rush of spirit, new energy. to put aside all that is not meaningful anymore, all that saps one's power... and to continue that walk with a braver smile and firmer stride. and what helps is a re-look at life, and what matters most. it is difficult to live in unawareness, because in the end, it is only self-knowledge and the courage to feel where it hurts most, and to look hard into both the dark and light of the inner being that will become our salvation.
an image of detachment. spirit looking into the workings of the flesh. and of knowing that nothing lasts forever. neither sorrow nor joy. it all passes.
here's a prayer for all the tsunami victims. may the Lord bless them and keep them, and may they find the strength to carry on. hard to believe that so many people have died in such an unexpected tragedy - but it brings light to the soul to know that so many care and love and have wept.
God bless all. Believe this - He loves us, and nothing can really keep us from His love.
May 2005 bring the fruition of dreams and the lessons of life to you.

Hey girl, I've got a suggestion. . . You know, we'd be very interested in the misadventures of Pet, whether fictionous or true, as she faces the Horrible Horkster and El Diablo, a.k.a M.F.M (Mala Fide Man)! XD
The drama, the action, the suspense, the conflicts, hahaha, macam opera sabun ni! XD Cheers!
yeah...this soap opera would be a best seller! hahahaha
but not for the time being...it could make a great memoir...:)
thanks for the suggestion!
i ll include ur name in the acknowledgements...:)
