What happened in Pet's life so far? Well, I've been busy with the Chinese debate competitions organised by the Chinese Language Society of Universiti Malaya...surprise, surprise, I'm a 'gong wei' or one of the committee members! Considering how terrible my command of Mandarin is, I' m still wondering what I'm doing here. Anyhow, it was because Elizabeth asked me to join her in this project, and she in turn was asked by her friend and ex- roommate, Shiau Liang. I did enjoy myself a lot and at this point, I've met many different types of people who each provide me with characters to put into my novels later on.
Suffice to say, this is Indeed an experience! Many new Chinese words and many new friends...I learned much and some, a marking of the human soul having more in common than one thinks.

It's been a while since I've been back to Ipoh and yeh, I m starting to miss home a bit...lucky thing, I m going back with my bro on x-mas eve. Whoopee do!
